#How to set up tukui client install#

At the 'Browse' tab you will find the buttons you need to install Tukui or ElvUI for the first time. It will be populated with all the installed addons, no worries. 'My Addons' tab should be empty, since you haven't install any addon through the Client yet. If you are not 100% sure, see below at the 'How do I check where my correct WoW installation folder is?'.

In case that the Client cannot find your game installation folder, click 'File' > 'Set Directory'.

Select the game version (Retail) from the dropdown list at the bottom right corner (see this post for images).

Optional: Click 'Remember UserName/Password' so you don't have to type them again and 'Automatically Login' to.

Important: Your credentials are case sensitive, so type them exactly as you did when you created your account. These are the ones you used when the account was created at.

On first run, the client will ask for your username and password.

Download the new Tukui Client for Windows from here.

Create an account in if you haven't done so.

Check the version in the Client 'About' menu.

Important: In case you still have the old Tukui Client (versions 2.x), you have to update it or even better uninstall it.This folder is used by Blizzard to store all the game and addon settings. WTF folder is in your World of Warcraft folder. Make a backup of your WTF folder in case something goes wrong or in case you wish to return to your old ui.Most of their plugins though, can also be found in Curse/Twitch or even in. Can only be downloaded from (see below). Standalone Tukui & ElvUI are not available in Curse/Twitch.In fact there is also a way skinning most them to fit with Tukui/ElvUI, via AddOnSkins. On the other hand, addons like Bagsync, damage meters like Skada, Recount, Details, BossMods like DBM or BigWigs etc, Clique, Weak Auras 2 and most of the rest WoW addons, will work fine. So, addons like Bartender and Dominoes for Actionbars and Z-Perl Unit Frames or Shadowed Unit Frames will not work well (if not at all). This means that they already have Blizzard frames skinned, unitframes and actionbars premade, etc. Tukui & ElvUI are complete Blizzard ui replacements.However id like to condense the raid UI on the left to just a skinned grid box which is what I am use to. In the end I want the dps version of my UI to look like this basically (hunter POV): I looked at the forte skinning guide but most of it was in french and I really couldnt understand where to go or what to do. I find even my old method wasnt big enough or in a good area. Id like some sort of adequate way or area to track my dots too.

Id like to move my toon ui and target ui up a bit and place my forte cd bar underneath (skinned) and on top of that my eclipse bar addon (dunno if you can skin it its the popular one everyone uses and it disappears when I am not in boomkin form).Īs for my shift shape bar id like to be able to move it into a better position lol. I want to make the right hand side buttons either fade when in combat or shrink them slightly. I really like the potential of this UI but I have no idea where to go to get it how I need it. My main is a Boomkin/Resto druid with alts being a warrior (dps) and a lock.
